Thoroughly cleaned the cylinder head. Did a little cleaning up of some of the sharp edges in the combustion chambers. Measured the chambers to determine the compression ratio (should really have done this before getting the head ported and skimmed but that's too bad.) The combustion chamber volumes are:
| No.1: | 33.2cc |
| No.2: | 33.4cc |
| No.3: | 33.2cc |
| No.4: | 33.6cc |
This gives an average compression ratio of about 10:1. 12:1 would be better but that would mean using different pistons or shaving more off the head. At least at 10:1 I can run it on normal super petrol rather than needing to use avgas.
