Had a look at the seat mounting brackets. Modified the driver's side brackets so I can move the seat further back.  Started making some proper brackets for the passenger's seat. |

Cleaned the innards of the gearbox.  Sandblasted the gearbox casing. Modified the clutch thust bearing carrier. The carrier needed about 5mm trimmed off the end of it so it doesn't foul the clutch plate. |

Painted the gearbox casings with clearcoat - they look pretty good. Started putting the box together. |

Finished putting the gearbox together. It has all new oil seals (except the seal in the speedo drive) and a new input shaft bearing (this is the one that always collapses so it's a good idea to always replace it when rebuilding one of these gearboxes). Took the engine off the engine stand and bolted the flywheel and clutch on. |

Stuck the engine and gearbox in. Still waiting on some valve springs and the cam to come back so the head isn't on yet. |
