Did a bit of parts gathering in the morning. I noticed an add in the tradingpost the other day that said Revolution Racegear were having a one day sale, so I decided to go along and have a look ... I knew I should never have gotten a credit card ... one swipe and $1200 later, I walked out with a new Sparco Evo seat, Willans 5 point harness, eye bolt mounting plates, bonnet pins and a kill switch.
After unloading the booty and recovering over some lunch, I pulled most of the last remaining bits off the yellow car - heater, brakes, some wiring, fuel tank and exhaust. Then it was onto musical cars.
I stuck the front suspension back on the blue car and rolled it out of the driveway, put the trolley jack under the front of the yellow car and rolled it out of the garage, then pulled the trailer out from the back of the garage, cleaned the garage, put the yellow car where the trailer was and the blue car in the garage where the yellow car was. The trailer can stay in the driveway and finally have all the junk in it taken to the tip. So after all that I didn't actually do any work on the blue car ... but at least it's in the garage out of the rain.

Made the rearward extensions of the side intrusion bars, started on the rear legs. |

Bought a chassis rotator (well half of one as I went halves in it with Jeff, who can use it for his 240Z after I've used it). It should be good to be able to spin the car over onto its side or roof to get at the underside... |
